Routing (Forward)
- Can automatically route (forward) DICOM instances to any DICOM nodes

- Forward rules includes next features: source AE Title; destination AE Titles (one rule can forward to many destinations); DICOM tag exists; DICOM tag equals; date/time when forward starts; decompress, compress or re-compress method
- Forward conditions can be mixed in any combinations
- If auto-routing fails, storage will retry for a maximum 4 times (configurable)
- If auto-routing fails, storage waits for a 2 seconds before next attempt (configurable)
Studies import
- Support import studies from external CD/DVD

Studies storing
- Support multi-volume storing of received instances. Volume is a local or remote folder. It can be created in the local disc space or in any kind of network shared space. It can be created on the NAS, SAN, RAID, tape storage, and any other devices which can share disk space
- Support unlimited volumes and number of images in the volumes
- Support automatic switching between images volumes. When they are full or are unreachable
- Support volume hierarchy. Each volume has configurable unique index number. This index is taken into account when storage switches volumes and when store the instances
- Support short-term and long-term types of volumes
- Support size limiting
- Support moving data from one volume to other
- Support temporary or permanent switching to read-only mode by administrator
- Support automatic switching to read-only mode when volume becomes unreachable

Web interface support

- Support upload files in DICOM format (separate files or several files at once, as well as the folders). Storage will sort the uploaded files by studies and series automatically
- Support upload files compressed by the archive. The file unpacking is realized with the help of 7z archiver library, all the basic archivers (such as zip, 7z, rar, tar, gz, lzh) are supported. The ISO disc image processing is also possible
- Support files uploading as to the public upload space, as to the private one
- In case of loading files to the public upload space the studies can be displayed for all the storage users
- In case of loading files to the private upload space the studies can be viewed only by the user who loaded them and to the administrators
- Support uploaded studies anonymization. It is possible to select the new patient name for the study (for convenience of the search in the long general list of the anonymized studies)
- After upload storage generates link to provide access to the study without log-in to the system. You can share or transfer link to the study somewhere in the Internet
- After upload storage sends the list of the studies found and the links to the studies on the user e-mail
- The links to the studies work for any kind of studies (anonymized or not), as public, as private ones. The user decides himself if he should give the link to anybody else or not
- Support remote management and administration available in the web-interface
- Support adding, deleting, modification and verify of DICOM devices (DICOM nodes) and images volumes; data transfer from volume to volume; user adding, deleting and modification; storage options; database processing; database statistics, backup, image database maintenance, queue manager, etc
